Global Labour Leaders Seal 31 Agreements To Boost Jobs, Training Opportunities

The Global Labor Market Conference (GLMC), has seen the signing of 31 contracts and Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) between numerous entities, aiming to offer thousands of training chances and jobs for the international workforce. This contract was signed at the second edition of the GLMC 2025, introduced in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, by His Excellency Engineer Ahmad Bin Salman Alrajhi, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, in addition to 40 labour ministers. According to the ministers, these initiatives will focus on qualifying diverse groups, such as new graduates, ladies, and people with impairments, for suitable employment through specialised training programs, including advancement, instructional initiatives, management preparation, and knowledge-sharing cooperations
Data from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), employment approximately 67 million young people are presently out of work, and almost 20 percent of people aged 15 to 54 are either used or taken part in education, organizations, or employment training programs. Highlighting the significance of these agreements, Alrajhi said “These figures highlight the urgent requirement to establish extensive techniques to attend to these typical difficulties successfully.” “Transforming them into chances, ultimately we can all collaborate to guarantee the prosperity of our economies, neighborhoods, and labor forces.” The minister also kept in mind that the arrangements focus on boosting functional effectiveness, promoting development, and driving value development in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030. Key entities included in these contracts consist of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD), the International Labour Organization (ILO), Takamol Holding, INSEAD, UiPath, Bella Vista Institute of Higher Education, the Saudi Logistics Academy, the Ministry of Tourism, and Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University.
The GLMC’s MOU will see numerous notable cooperations emerged. INSEAD will offer academic services, employment while partnerships with Space Faculty and ProFun will explore innovation and knowledge sharing. Bella Vista Institute and the Saudi Logistics Academy will provide customized training programmes focused on leadership development and capacity structure. The Ministry of Tourism inked MoUs with Marriott Hotels and Arabian Airports to develop labor force and employment training efforts. Princess Nourah University partnered with SEA Ventures to promote entrepreneurship advancement. A significant advancement is the facility of the Kaspersky Knowledge Transfer Centre, developed to advance cybersecurity skills amongst trainees and the workforce, amongst others. Share
